Consultants have Intentions, so choose wisely

Over time I have learned how invaluable, valueless and (sometimes lethal) advice can be. By now society is well aware the position and influence of “consultants.”
Consultants are typically well aware and informed individuals or a team of individuals in which one seeks out for professional opinion/advice. In my opinion we all experience consultants, because they are merely the people speaking into our lives on a daily basis. They speak opinions, wisdom, good advice, bad advice, but nonetheless they speak from what I believe to be one of two sides of the fence.
From one side you have those who speak from experience, whether it’s actual physical encounters, or experience from what they may have heard, seen, or even studied.  They speak from what they have found to be valuable information and insight.
The other side is mere intention; they speak positive or negative based on their want, but always with intention. Intentions ranging from their greed or need for something they may acquire from you accepting their advice towards your final decision or move. It may refer to money, a girlfriend/boyfriend, a living situation, or even a job situation, but it is something that in the end will purposely benefit them, one way or another.
I have drawn to this conclusion based purely off experience. I have experienced both sides of the fence. I feel now that I have enough experience to distinguish the two. I write this to encourage and inform. Encourage, because I feel all individuals both young and old come across people on a daily basis with one of these two motives, some want to help you for the sake of helping, while others are unfortunately looking out for their own wellbeing.

TO-DAY-i-promise

 SUNDAY-MARCH 25, 2012

Many revelations may come to one as a surprise, or while they're in meditation or deep thought. Some may say theirs came as a surprise.

Mine came expected, but just not with this amount of weight.

I have had a heavy burden. The burden we all face while searching for our "niche." We either allow the burden to motivate and drive us, or we allow it to shut us down and conform. Small weak minds fall into what's comfortable because its the easy route, the comfort zone.

The one's who truly succeed and go beyond what society expects of them, are the one's who seek expecting nothing short of success in what they want to do. They expect failures to come, but ultimately have made it up in their mind that they are going to do what they have set out to do.

One may have a vision of what they want to ultimately experience on this earth, but without grind, failure, depression and hard times they won't get it.

In order to go beyond what your elementary teachers told you you would be, you have to refuse to conform to that. School will often assist with tagging students. They simply help place a limit on you, limiting your abilities, and basically creating your reputation. Don't feed into that lie.

After a successful night of talking memories, religion, beliefs, success and failures I've come to the notion that there is more to life than preparation. You will sell yourself short if you spend your whole life preparing to be successful. Success will rarely come while your purposely preparing for it. Allow your mistakes, your close calls, and the moments you want to give up make your success. Throw yourself to the dogs. Living according to what society says is "safe" is a lie. Society will set you up, the media will set you up. Following statistics, and living by what THEY say is acceptable will always be a hindrance to where you can go.

Go against what society SAYS is possible. Cherish your failures and appreciate them. There's no growth without them.

Peace and Love
